Heterogenous Network Configuration
In a heterogenous network configuration, TReeBee® Field Units (TRFU) can be either connected directly with the TReeBee® Master Unit (TRMU), or they are connected via another TReeBee® Field Unit (acting as a router), to report and transfer their sensor information to a host application.
So, the real network architecture of the TReeBee® sensor network is rather flexible and only dependent on propagation aspects of the wireless connectivity.
It shall be noted at this point, that Field Units (TRFU) -acting as a router for other devices- may not be set in a power saving mode, as they are prepared to forward messages at any time.
