TRainCom® radio system components are compliant with and certified
according to EN 55150 to meet the relevant requirements of the rail
industry.
Apart from the system development and system engineering capability which is concentrated in TELEFUNKEN, the same precision in the production process is also required to maintain a high standard of product quality. So, as one of the first communication system suppliers worldwide, TELEFUNKEN is certified to comply with the IRIS regulations of the international rail industry suppliers.
In addition to this certification, TELEFUNKEN is also certified for:
ISO 9001: 2000, AQAP-2110 / -2210 (the relevant certifications for military suppliers). As a contractor for aircraft systems (the relevant certification for aeronautical suppliers).
With its wide expertise in relevant capabilities TELEFUNKEN also takes care of the entire value chain, guaranteeing excellent system performance. Therefore, even more than 80% of the TRainCom system components are sourced from qualified German suppliers.
