High data rates
Based on TRainCom® MT radio systems technology, data rates
of up to 32 Mbps (for up- and down-link) can be achieved. This is
accomplished by the smart TRainCom® radio transceiver
technology using very robust modulation schemes and efficient signal
processing procedures. The defined data transfer rates are independent
of train speed, radio distances and train position within the rail
network. They provide a constant and reliable level of system
performance, a valuable characteristic of advanced radio technology.
Depending on the overall system configuration, these links are defined
for 2, 5, 8, 16 or up to 32 Mbps simultaneously in up- and down link
(up to 64 Mbps in total).
