Transceivers are always core elements of all radio systems and stations.
In TrainCom MT radio systems corresponding mmW transceivers are used in the stationary radio base stations (RBS) and the mobile stations in the trains for data transmission.
Its applied radio technology and transmission protocols provide a reliable broadband communication link for trains in typical metro environments, independent of train speed and regardless of track topology.
Depending on the required system concept, TRainCom® MT radio transceivers are available for full-duplex (with simultaneous up- and downlink capability), or semi-duplex (with sequential up- and downlink capability) radio transmission mode. Today suitable TRainCom radio transceivers are available for various broadband applications with different data rates, ranging from 2 Mbps up to 32 Mbps to adapt to individual customer demands. By this wide performance range, multiple-user applications can also be supported simultaneously.
Designed for tough metro rail application, qualified for IP 67, tested and certified for EN 50155, the transceivers withstand the environmental conditions in trains, tunnels and freefield areas.
