Depending on their usage in an overall TRainCom^® radio system, the stationary or mobile radio transceivers are connected with suitable antennas to optimize radio propagation in challenging rail situations. For stationary applications, mostly directed antennas will be used to achieve good radio coverage.

Especially in a mobile application, certified and proven antennas that match the relevant rail requirements (e.g. with overhead catenary) will be used for installation in/on the train. Special antenna adaptations are available for radio application in tunnels with critical height restrictions.
